A few of your Independence Firefighters attended the MDA Boot Camp this past Tuesday! It was great to learn about all of the new research and progress that the MDA is making for so many with Muscular Dystrophy, ALS, and various other neuromuscular diseases. Last year, we raised close to $8,000 for this cause, and this year our goal is to double that! Through this summer and into the fall, we will be raising money for the MDA at different events.
